WELCOME BACK!

What we have planned for the month of July

Once again, the goal of Kenwood Kidz Unplugged is to step back in time a few years and unplug from technology while at the same time giving a clear focus on the doctrines of our faith. We do this through memorization and then recitation both in the home and to a staff member on Wednesday evenings.  


Cheri Weed will be telling the story "Sunday School Charlie and Slocum Alley." Some may remember hearing stories of Sunday School Charlie "back in the day."  We're even going to use the flannel graph!!  :)

The Bible memory, Creed, and Catechism questions may be memorized and recited at the best pace for your child.  Each memorized piece needs to be as perfect as possible!  Stretch their mind (but know we offer grace - and "helps")!

Bible Memory:  Acts 1:8  

8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Take the opportunity to speak with your child/children as to what a current day Jerusalem, all Judea, Samaria, and "the end of the earth" might look like.  Use a map, globe, or Google Earth to explain.
